Skeet was originally developed to improve hunting in the field and later grew into a competitive sport. Shooters shoot from the positions shown on the diagram below. Targets are thrown from a trap located in each “house”. The target flight is fixed from each house, but the angles appear to change as shooters move around the semi-circle. One round of skeet is a total of 25 targets.
